Just hope we can beat the Mets and the Phils out for the division.

if the braves beat out the mets and phils for the division, they would more than likely be the favorite to win the nl

It's possible. The Mets will likely have their late season choke, and if the Phillies could have a World Series hang over from last season it would be doable.

The don't necessarily need to rely on a Mets choke and a Phils hangover. The Braves have the talent to compete, it's just a matter of putting it all together and staying healthy.

pitching is better IMO, but having Garret Anderson as your clean up hitter has to make you worried a little

The Braves pitching staff is wildly underrated. I'm actually more excited about this season than last. If Francoeur can remember what hitting the ball is like, that would be great. Kotchman will come around. I'm ready.

True, b/c I think McCann should bat cleanup. Of course there are lots of ifs, but Escobar and Kotchman both finished up extremely strong. We know what we're getting from Chipper, McCann, and Anderson. CF is a crap shoot. And Jeffy is...well he promised us a right handed stick this year.
Rotation is solid, not great, but above average. Pen is well above average. Like I said, it's a matter of staying healthy and having guys like Jeffy and KJ come through for us.
