Is there any way I can find out

if someone's will was changed before they died? A friend of the family died about seven years ago and supposedly left her house to her next door neighbor's daughter. Her neighbor happens to be her lawyer and at the time she was on her deathbed had Power of Attorney. Without getting into the story I suspect something shady happened and would like to at least see if something was changed during that time. Is this possible after this much time?
