Hopefully LSU will get Terrance Broadway now.

Does LSU really need another qb on the roster?

Strange choice but good luck to the young man. I understand the appeal of TX but to be this highly regarded and commit on the heels of GG is strange to me.

Texas always wraps up recruiting in way earlier than everyone else. Mack has a system and sticks to it, and seems to work out for him. He is consistently in the Top 5.

That's a little detrimental isn't it? Shouldn't he be 3rd string next year behind Colt McCoy and John Chiles? Is Chiles expected to never start now or what?

Why would Broadway come to LSU with the current depth chart?

I won't get into it. If you're interested in why he might come to LSU, there is a Terrance Broadway thread that has 5 pages specifically on this subject.

Good luck with that...seeing as though he'll be behind Gilbert

I think either Chiles or Harris transfers and the one that stays compete with GG for starter.

Mack Brown is a pretty amazing recruiter. I have a lot of respect for the Longhorn program. At least more than any of those other losers in the Big 12.

Mack is a great recruiter, but seriously how hard is it to recruit the state of Texas when you are at UT and have the most money to spend?

Does Texas really need Wood with Gilbert already in the wings? After McCoy leaves, one injury could put Wood at the helm, should he not beat out Gilbert. (BTW, Texas has been lucky to not have a QB injury ever since Applewhite went down, so the odds say they'll need depth. )

If anybody should know you can't have enough quality QB depth, it should be LSU, especially after Perriloux-Hatch-Lee-Jefferson fiasco. Besides, letting the state's #1 QB skip to Bama or elsewhere when he is in LSU's backyard, is as inexcusable as letting Warrick Dunn ship off to Tallahassee.

Texas had a hard time keeping instate players during the 80's and 90's Mack has really changed all of that.

So did LSU in the 80's and 90's. That bus doesn't run anymore.
