Im not the typical LSU fan that Hates USC bc of 03...well some of my hate come from that, but I really cant stand those fricks bc of the Media and how they suck USC and Pete Carrol off every chance they get. Does the media really not see their own Hard On for USC? Every Damn year they put another USC player up for the heisman! At the beginning of this football season the media favorite to win was Mark Sanchez...WTF? the guy didnt even start a game in 07!!! Thats like puttin Matt Flynn as the Heisman favorite last year. Ride the pine and soon as you become the starter your a Heisman favorite. They are already building Joe Mcknight up as a Heisman favorite next year. The kid has a ton of talent, but didnt he split time with 2-3 backs this year and wasnt even the starter? 07 was the first time in years they got it right and awarded the BEST player in NCAA to Tim Tebow.

Ray Mal
Brian Cushing
and I think there was another.
You think this helps with recruiting? Get a starting position and you have an inside track to the Heisman trophy.

I haven't heard anyone say anything about Joe McKnight even being in the conversation for the best back in the Pac-10 let alone the heisman

Leinart made it clear he was the best in the Orange Bowl in 04. Bush had an argument, but VY probably should have won...other than Troy Smith winning over D-Mac it's been decent

I don't know how anyone can disagree with Leinart winning it. Reggie Bush had a helluva year when he won it, and you knew they weren't going to give it to Leinart again. If voting was done AFTER the bowls, VY gets it, but it isn't like Reggie was a scrub and got all this extra attention for no reason

its funny how you mention the media has a lovefest for USC but you are posting a board about them when seasons over. why are you even thinking about USC

He was on their watch list after the OSU game, along with many others from other teams as well.
