To all the resident money guru's

I was wisely advised to liquidate all of my tax sheltered retirement assests into the money market back when the dow average was around 11,300.
Since this is a retirement fund, and I'm decades from using the money, I've been itching to hop back into my old portfolio. The same financial advisor that gave me such good advice to get out earlier, is telling me to leave things as they are for now.
What do you guys think? This bottom has been tested several times, and always seem to hold. If we get the usual bounce back up to the mid 8's, I'll prolly hop back out, and enjoy the 10 or so precent gain.
Opinions?

Disclosure: The following advice is worthless
I got out at 13.8K dow and am not getting back in at this juncture. I still see downside pressure and major systematic issues that need to be resolved.

i'll take your advise into conisderation, since you were damn good at knowing when to get out.

My 2 cents continues to be to look at bonds instead of equities. I still think equity is way rich to credit.

Meh. Even when it does "bottom", I don't think we're going to see any real capital appreciation for a very long time. I wouldn't be in a hurry.

At least with debt securities, you're getting realizable income out of it, even if the price drops. That's assuming you can get out before shtf 2.0 with inflation down the road (or they avoid it and you make out like a bandit, both scenarios are unlikely imo). So yeah, there's a lot of risk out there.

early td consensus is the same as my advisors, so i'll take the advise. I was thinking of hopping back in by 3 pm to have my order processed today, but I'm going to shelf the idea. Thanks
