Here! Here!

I am watching the wildcat/gumpity game here at work, too, and was wondering if the bamatoids were going to get the same kind of home cookin' that they did against us!!

Didn't see the game, could very well be the case (though, I don't like when fans blame officials). However, should the game really have been close, anyway?

On a previous thread about this game I mentioned it was the most one-sided officiated game I've seen this season. I thought Brando was going to swallow his gum a couple of times trying to choke down criticism of the refs. Nationally, the SEC is known for horrible round-ball officiating. More than likely the LSU team 3 games removed from that day could overcome the bad calls. A season with a new coaching staff is a progression and I like the evolution thus far. I've been saying 22 wins and they're in all season but this team could do better than that before all's said and done. Fun to watch, that's for sure.

Guys it really not necessary to blame officals everytime we lose a close game. We didn't shoot well and we turned the ball over at bad times. Plain and simple we lost. We play them again so we can get it back.

TigerPhan, Officiating is as much a part of college basketball as offense and defense. As a former official, I can admit I blew some calls. When several get blown in one game for one side only, it's juvenile to believe that the adverse effects should be disregarded. As I stated earlier in this thread, today's LSU team could probably overcome those same bad calls. Everything's relative my friend. Calls do have a way of evening out but unfortunately not always in the same game.

I respect your opinion Randy, but we never led once in the game against Bama. You can blame the officals all you want but if shoot the ball better in that game and make better decision we win. Blaming others for your losses is a loser mentality and I just hope the players don't blame officals when they lose

The odds of getting a win on the road in any SEC opener aren't very good.
LSU has only won it's first SEC road game twice this decade. Both were at Arkansas in '04 and '06.
Coleman Coliseum, like most road venues isn't an easy place to win. The Tigers are 2-8 there since 2000.
LSU would have had to play near perfect to win there this season. That's a rarity in you FIRST SEC contest. Starting on the road makes it even more difficult.
