According to THIS ARTICLE they won't break ground until late 2009 at the earliest.

The Band Hall is officially up for public bid so it's a reality now. My guess is it will take 6-9 months to break ground and pour concrete for the foundation- so probably will be finished for 2011 football season. Just an update for you folks...

When converted to the Louisiana Public Construction Time Frame Standard, this means 2017.
