I took it as disrespectful to LSU when GT played the fake punt on their own 20 yard line with 12 yards to go, hiking it to a DE that has to run to the far side of the field to convert.

Do they think they were playing a Pop Warner team? So anything LSU did after that, I feel GT deserved.

GT had the attitude that LSU did not deserve to be there when in fact GT did not deserve to be there.

Exactly the same thing I was feeling. I was thinking last night, GT went for it on 4th and 8 at LSU own 30 yard line and ran a DE to try and convert. If anything that shows a lack of respect for LSU.

I took it as more of a sign of stupidity than disrespect.

So you don't think attitude had anything to do with their decision?

That was just one of Paul Johnson's farts released from a diarrhea of the brain game plan he concocted while consuming the crap spewing from the media leading up to this game.

He thought his team was better than it was and in the process underestimated LSU.

I think it's pretty lame knowing LSU's speed.. I believe this is why we fake punted (ours was after this incident correct?)

It wasnt a bad call at all. It seemed like LSU was ready for it. They had their guys staying home on a punt which rarely happens when our punt coverage team is in. Paul realized Trindon was going to get a chance to run one back and he figured Les would call for a full punt return coverage. LSU did the same thing a couple of years ago and it worked. It isnt stupid. It is thinking you have an upper hand on the opposing coach.

Stupid it was. You know there are cures for almost every kind of disease but still no cure for STUPIDITY.

Some coaches don't know how to lose with dignity including our own Les Miles who I recall went for a 4th and something like 5 or 6 somewhat early in the 2nd half against Florida only down bt about 2 scores.

I didn't consider it an act of disrespect or stupidity.

I thought it was an act of DESPERATION given that they figured out pretty quick they were in over their heads and that they weren't in Kansas or the ACC any more.
