Sorry, I'm on my cell phone and can't provide a link, but read in the Monroe newspaper that former LSU QB Sol Graves has a son, Quin, who will be playing in the Alamo Dome the day after the High School all-American game.

Quin was selected to participate in this game of 7th and 8th graders.

Only 40 are invited, and he is the only 7th grader from Louisiana.

Anyone have anymore info on him? Future recruit?

A 7th grader? Future recruit? What if he gains 180 lbs in high school. You can't predict things like that

Yea, so?

Pretty impressive to be invited as a 7th grader when there are only 40 spots.

I merely asked if any had any info on him, perhaps seen him play, assneck!

His daddy Sal Graves is now one of the leading Orthopedic surgens in the state of La.
Not bad for the ex LSU starting QB.

He'd be a 3rd generation LSU player if he ended up in BR right?

That is correct.
White Graves is Sol's dad. He played at LSU back in the day.

Oh, and thanks for the only non dickface response.

Just a side note.....

Both Sol and my father played ball at LSU together and are still good friends to this day. Each of them set up the other on a blind date/double dutch in college.

Both ended up marrying thier respective dates.

Both became Orthopods.

Obviously I owe a lot to Sol. Great guy to boot.

My 19 month old is throwing a football 20 yards and he is left handed!

Sol Graves set the national career passing record at Ouachita Christian in 1985. He sat behind Tommy Hodson and had his chance in 1990. He was not good.

Just a little curious .. your Profile says you were born in 1974. Is that a typo?

Because if it isn't, that would have made you age 12 through 16 during Graves' 5 years at LSU (1986-1990). And if your Dad was his teammate during any of those years, he must have had the oldest kid of any LSU football player in history !!

Or are you talking about Sol's dad, White Graves III ?

You are correct. I was talking about the elder Graves. They both played together in the 60's. Got the two mixed up, my bad. I have only met him personally a few times but my father has kept in touch over the years.

His name is Larry. Recruited by Paul D. but played for Cholly at fullback.
