True but he only misses 8-10 starts a year. If he makes 25 starts, he will get 16-19 wins with a good offense.

He's averaged 27 starts/ season over the past 8 years.

He'd be their 2 starter right now. Pelfrey is still quite green, and Maine still has a sore shoulder/elbow.

I agree he seems hurt alot, but he still has one of the best curve balls in the game IMO.

That's where I think he should have gone all along. And not because I'm a homer. One, it's close to home, but more importantly, I don't see how the Braves could justify offering A.J. Burnett so much and not even making an effort on the younger Sheets.


This would be a huge move for the Braves, and if they could get a bat to stick in LF, they might be in a position to challenge the Mets for 2nd place in the East.
