on Jefferson Hwy. I've seen the owner/exec. chef on TV. Anyone eaten there? Comments?

I've been three times in the last 3 months.

The shrimp appetizer is great with grits.

The steaks are very good as well, but don't expect them to come out sizzling with butter.

The smoked gouda macaroni is pretty good.

If I had to rate the steak houses here in town, I'd vote # 1) Flemings # 2) Ruth's # 3) Vic's #4) Sullivan's (although it has slipped) and # 5) Primo's (haven't been in a very long time).

Some say, but I haven't tried it, that the Little Village has the best steak in town.

I have been a few times and have never been impressed. For the money you can find a lot better food in BR. The place is small so when it gets crowded it gets loud.

I've been making this at home for years and it kicks arse.

It is, but every time I have been, there were no more than 3 tables in there, besides us.

And we went at supposedly busy times (Friday and Saturday nights).
