I was looking at TigerSportsZone.net and they were shedding some light on different coaches. What could be the bit of pay back?
Quote ! Look for some movement on or around Jan. 2. Does this day sound familiar to anyone??? May be a bit of payback!

Saban to BAMA was announced when we played the sugar bowl so the site suggests that we will announce our DC on the same day as BAMA's sugar bowl.

The guy is saying that LSU will announce their DC the day Bama plays. He is hinting that the hire will be so great that the entire media will be talking about this instead of the Sugar Bowl.
But LSU played on Jan 3 and Bama is playing on Jan 2 so the date is a non factor.

Thank you, you will get an " A " ! Its got to be big. Still wondering who!!! Like everybody else !! Sounds crazy but what about, coach ED and Tubb on the same side line?

Ya, I doubt that the announcement makes that big of a deal with the media.

Well there is only a couple of guys that will make that great of hire. One is Bud Foster.
BTW No way Les does this. He is too classy to do this IMO.

Muschamp would cause a media frenzy.

LSU new DC, so big of news it overshadows the Sugar bowl.
outside of Louisiana, who cares. espn wont even mention it

You never like to say never. However, at least one place (and possibly more) I've said "Tubby is never going to coordinate in the NCAA". I didn't rule out him being a DC in the NFL, but I said never. I stand by it.
However, if this impossible thing happens, and Tubby comes in "to Pay Back" Saban, maybe? The state of Alabama? Auburn? just for a year or two, LSU will be effing up some people in the SEC.

I agree. But if we get Foster from VTech, Muschamp from UT, or Tubby, the media would be all over it. there are some out there that would cause this.
