the grizz officially have nuts

the grizz have signed darius miles. the contgract is for 1 year and $500k.
thats not the "nuts" part of it. if he remains on the team for longer than 10 games, portland is officially over the salary cap and in luxury tax land for $27 million.
the rumore has it that the grizz are going to get miles into 9 games and then see if portland would be willing to make a favorable trade before they release miles.
it is nice to see the cellar dwellers making waves.

the early feedback coming out of here is that they would be on the books for miles' contract from before they released him last year. they said it would put them $9 mill over cap.

also look for us to try to get travis outlaw. we dont need a #3 with rudy in the mix, but travis is somewhat local, an outisde threat, and much needed depth

he is owed $18 mill. right now it is off the portland cap because he is technically retired. if he plays in more than 10 games this year his $ goes back on the blazer tab.

the pau trade is now shaping up. the j critt trade for a 1st rounder, now the miles signing, etc. are all great moves. he has made a few that were dumb, but overall wallace is doing some great things for this team.
