I'm putting some chicken on the bbq pit tomorrow since it'll be in the 70s and no signs of snow. Looking for something different than my traditional seasoning of salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, etc.

Maybe a southwestern or asian marinade? Jerk? Any recipes welcomed. No bottle stuff.

What you got?

1/4 cup Olive oil
1/4 cup water
Ground cumin
1/4 Lime juice
teaspoon minced garlic
McCormicks Southwestern seasoning

pour over chicken and let sit it fridge a few
hours and grill. Some fresh cilantro is also nice in the marinade or sprinkled on after it comes off the grill.

Whatever you use, while cooking apply very lightly early and reapply slowly increasing the amount while turning every 5 min for about an hour to hour 15min. This allows the seasoning to caramelize without burning.
