Another year like last one and he could get fired IMO. He won't get the Leway even Dinardo got, because our fanbase is so spoiled now.

He would have to achieve the same record or worse.

I think this is right but not because the fanbase is spoiled.

It's because of the new East Upper and Luxury Boxes, a new Softball and new Baseball complex, new scoreboards and jumbotron and several other projects. Got to win to keep the money flowing. It will be a true business decision.

By mid-season next year, he'll have to show marked improvement over this year. 7-5 will not be acceptable next year. Maybe not even 8-4.

Hey there fair weather tiger fans, I'd gladly take your season tickets off your hands if you really don't think Les will have things turned around next season.

The man is a year removed from winning a national championship, and this year included STILL has a fantastic record and is doing well in recruiting. End of story. Give it a rest. Here is what supposedly great coaches have done in comparison to Miles in the last 4 years of their coaching careers (this year included):

Miles: 41-11
Stoops: 42-11
Saban: 41-11
Meyer: 43-9
Petrino: 37-12
Richt: 39-12
Tressel: 42-7

Y'all act like we hired Chauncey Gardiner or something....

To draw a paralell - I knew Mike Shula wasn't going to make it at Alabama because his teams gave up on him. He made poor game day decisions continually putting the team in untenable situations until they finally gave up on him and quit playing as soon as they got behind.

I think Miles team gave up on him this year because of the poor gameday decisions he made. It's pretty disheartening to watch a coach keep playing a guy who throws nearly as many pick 6s as he does completions. Miles ability to keep his team inspired has been compromised by poor gameday coaching decisions and his silly postgame explanations for the losses. I think a lot of LSU players are questioning Miles leadership - and that puts him on the hot seat now.

Bama gave up on Saban last year, just saying

Not true. There were a lot of bad actors at Alabama last year - left overs from the undisciplined loser mentlity of the Shula era. They caused trouble and dissention all year long last year. Saban called them out early and it split the team. He got rid of them after the season and got the rest of the team and his new recruits to buy into his plan - the results speak for themselves.

What I find amusing is that the jackasses who post here seem to think that becuase THEY say Miles is feeling heat that it is some kind of gospel fact.
Hint for you bunch of scrotum fungi. Miles is here to stay unless LSU loses every game next season and the one after that. Get used to the idea. Learn to live life with both Coach Miles middle fingers 2 inches from your collective faces. Assholes.

That doesn't mean they didn't quit on him. UL-M? Are you HONESTLY arguing that the best effort the talent of Bama could put forth couldn't beat UL-M?
