Bears Game Ticket Question

I am going to be in Chicago Thursday for a conference. Have been thinking about going to the game but I don’t want to commit to a ticket till I get there ie I want to wait to see how the meeting is going and just how “cold” it is.
So any thoughts on picking up a ticket outside the stadium Thursday night?
And would it be safe for a Saints fan? Sorry, have to ask that as I am a nervine female when it comes to large sporting events!

The Bears fans are not the nicest of people. The cold isn't to bad b/c the wind is not much of a factor - just dress warm. I had tickets before hand so I'm not sure about picking one up around the stadium.

not to sure about the safety in and around Soldier field, but I can assure you Bears fans are some of the biggest assholes in the league.
you could easily scalp a ticket for sure, but being a female Saints fan your subject to way over paying. I suggest you post up at a nice bar and enjoy the game in a warm place with decently priced drinks.

I would not step foot into their stadium. I went with 3 ladies to the Saints v Bears playoff game and they were horrid. Their fans are bonafide lunatics and psychopaths. I will never go back to the city of Chicago unless the Saints are in the Superbowl in that stadium and the Bears are not playing.

I wish I had seen this earlier. I had a single club level ticket next to me and my pops for cheap.

That's ok.
I know the fans are mostly assholes and I think I could just blend in and it wouldn't be a problem but then I think back to 06 and the horror stories so I doubt I'll go.

went to the nfc champ game in 06, cold as shite. I had like 6 layers and I was still numb towards the end. The worst part was my feet. Second time in my life I saw snow.
After the game they funnel everyone into the parkish area across the street. Was awesome that night, but I was majorly depressed.
Me and my dad were in the grand stand, HUGE douchebags up there. Fortunately the people sitting immediately around us were nice. When we were walking back to the hotel, some cops at a crosswalk started berating us, it was shocking.
I was just happy to get back to my southern LA humidity.
After the game they funnel everyone into the parkish area across the street. Was awesome that night, but I was majorly depressed.

Cammie keep your eye out on eBay for a club ticket or if you're in Chicago ask your concierge. Ticket prices generally tend to drop - especially for a weeknight game.

I went in 06 as well. I wish I would have seen those douchebags with the Katrina sign. I was so lit on Crown Royal by 11 I would have shoved that sign up his retarded looking arse.
