Bert Jones threw at least two or three picks in his first game against Colorado and was roundly booed and harshly criticized. I know of at least one person who had a heaping portion of crow at a later time.

That would almost make sense if that Colorado game equaled an entire season.

Jarret Lee may have taken his last snap ever at LSU. If JJ has a good bowl game it's all over for him baring injuries and Russel Shepard getting abducted on his way to B.R. in January.

I know fans have treated JL like shite and its wrong. The guy skips class most of the time due to the shite hes taken and the few times he comes to class, he comes the back way...

This must mean that he actually learned from his mistakes and improved as the season progressed. This is the challenge that Lee has failed, and the root of all the dissatisfaction.

JL's release reminds me of Dan Marino.

Judging by his performance vs Ole Miss and R-Kansas that is a big if.
JJ shows a lot of potential but he hasn't earned the starting position yet just the right to start the bowl game. If he does a great job and we upset GT then your assertion may prove to be true. If ifs and buts...
