Upgraded PS3 hard drive

Just put in a 320 Gig. Got it for $50.

what is what like? The PS3 is just the same just more space...i backed up my data and then restored it on the new drive.

Got a hitachi 320 gig, 5400 rpm, i read stuff saying that 7200 rpm could get too hot and ware out the hard drive. I had wanted to do it for about 9 months and when I saw it for $50 it was too good of a deal to pass up.

Also, several years ago maybe 2001 IBM handed over the entire hard drive portion of IBM to hitachi so they make all the IBM drives. I figured that meant it was a good product even though I would have preferred seagate.
