Last year we are ranked number one, and lose the Friday after Thanksgiving to the unranked hogs. This year we are unranked and going to play the unranked hogs.Maybe it will be JJ's break out game, and he gives us all something to look forward to next year.

I honestly don't know what will frustrate me more

A) a lackluster performance by the Tigers like they've been doing all season.
B) a total domination by the Tigers making me wonder where this team has been all season.

I really want JJ to play well. The downside will be that if he does play well, my confidence in Miles will be at an all-time low...especially if the entire team plays really well and rallies around him. It still won't be enough of a downside.

I was at the ARKY game last year..brutally cold that day, sitting in the shade and the wind was blowing right in our faces.. Proabably sitting in the sun was ok

Just a bad day

I was at the UK game last year. I've been waiting 3 years for the Tigers to come to town so I could see them play. Oh well.

OK new question:

Does anyone think we can be back in national title contention next year? I mean, we still have talent. Let's say we get a stellar DC who can get the D on the right track. Crowton actually tailors the plays to JJ and JL. Will Miles blow it? I'm optimistic about next year, but I wonder about Miles. I mean, the 2006 team was as good of a CFB team as there is. Honestly, I see that year as the one that got away.

My guess is, as much as it pains me to even think it much less state it, that LSU's total domination of Arkansas is about as likely as the U. N. solving an international crisis.

My question is, why couldn't they play the whole season like the played against Bama? Even though we lost, it was our best game.

Oh, I definitely agree on that. I just want to see Les make steps to solve this crisis.

I would not be opposed to conservative offensive play in this game. Let's not throw JJ in there to air it out. Run, wild tiger, option with JJ with a few shots downfield. I want to see this team get back to basics before getting too fancy. The coaching staff has been way off the mark with the play calling. Our running game should be carrying this team this year.

For the defense...schemes aside...I'd like the first player to get to the ball carrier to actually get him to the ground. We've missed waaaayyyy too many tackles this year.

Probably. Actually, I think I'm a little partial to the SC game. I know we were flat in the first half as in all our games...but I thought we were starting to gel in the 2nd half. I thought that game was going to be a turning point for us. We basically downed the ball on the 1 yard line to let the clock run out. Had we punched it in, we would have put 31 on a very good SC defense.

The qbs will not be ready for a national title run but with a new defensive staff this is a ten win team next year.
