I think many tiger fans expected to lose 3 or 4 this season with a noname QB.

But after the first two losses, it was the way we were losing that was worrying with the defense giving up huge chunks of yardage. I think the Bama game was a turning point - if not for the season then for the program.

If LSU can play defense like last Saturday then we are set up well for the coming years.

Not trying to take too much away from y'all, but our offense is mediocre at best.

Maybe that was due to how well our defense played..

Julio Jones is a stud, other than that, Bama has IMHO an mediocre offense for a legit top 20 team.

It's far better than Auburn's and MSU's offense.

Both of them carved us up.

No, our offense, especially passing, is mediocre.

This is true.

Which, given LSU's talent, should not have happened.

I see what you're getting at. LSU is playing the way they should have.

Lets hope Bama does not go to the spread offense!

If every opponent we play refuses to spread the field and throw the ball, then yes we are "set." Good luck with that.

That mediocre offense was enough to take the No 1 team to overtime, all with a RS freshman who practically gave you the game in regulation with 3 interceptions. Hey you won the game now move on.

I think he was calling his own offense mediocre. Not LSUs.

I think next year we'll have the kind of problems on our d-line that we had in our secondary this year. We're replacing what, 3 guys from our d-line? That Hicks kid from Sacto could help a ton, but I still doubt we're gonna be a top 10 defense next year.

Ah, but we're getting ahead of ourselves: Troy, OM, Arky and a bowl game are on the immediate horizon.

Shouldn't you be busy worrying about getting Croomed again?

Not only does Bama have a very mediocre offense, they also have one of the most conservative coaches in the entire country.

Every other team in the top 10 would have beat us by 20+ points.
