While the defense played outstanding yesterday, i am very worried by the loss of the swagger that they have. These guys just dont seem to go out and hurt people like our previous defenses do. I wonder if this is a problem with the co DC or just MNC hangover

Even yesterday, when our defense played one of its better games we still:
• Gave up a lot of big yardage (15+ yards) plays
• Allowed Wilson to lounge around in the pocket on too many plays
• Got burned on a couple third and longs
• Missed a ton of tackles
Our secondary sure looked better though.

1 or 2 guys give a D that attitude.
Dorsey brought it to the Dline, Highsmith did it, and so did Landry.
Chevis was a hard hitter for a DB as well. Seems none of the new guys but Alem and Peterson really bring that to the table. I thought Coleman and Jones would, but coleman's bark is louder than his bite, and Jones hasn't really made a big play all year.

Yeah, Rahim Alem and Patrick Peterson bring that kind of fire and big-play ability. Maybe Jones still has that big-play ability in him but he's not showing it at nickelback.
