Gameplan is simple - score more points than Bama.

Put Patrick Peterson man to man on J.Jones.all game long.
Come up with a blocking scheme to slow down the 50 blitzes that will come.
Try to throw as less as possible.
find a linebacker that will pick up the tight end or running back coming across the middle.

This is the key. We don't need to overthink this one. Establish the run, drain the clock, SCORE POINTS on long drives, and don't throw the ball into traffic. It's actually a pretty simple game plan for any game. Too bad we try too hard to complicate the offense sometimes.

That is where Chad Jones comes into play IMO. Take an LB out and play him all game.

Defensively, we need to bring pressure from various positions all game long. If we play the usual keep the game in front of us defense Parker will slowly pick us apart. Remember, Saban's teams don't turn the ball over and they don't make many mistakes.

Offensively, we will have to run the ball to win period. We do need to throw some on first down. Our pass plays have been the same hand full all season long. We will need a different look to win IMO. Saban is a defensive man and he WILL rock Mr. Lee.

I believe our defense will rise to the occasion and we will offensively put up just enough points to win.

Tigers 27
Gumps 24

I'm betting we're not gonna get a lot of big holes for Scott to run through. If we have success running, KW may take the lead with his greater speed. Against the two best d-lines we've faced this year (USC and UF), we ran the ball 72 times for 244 yards—a 3.4 YPC average.

Tigers win 27-24 in OT.
