Looks like Russell Shepard has 5TDs so far tonight

3 passing, 2 rushing. Complete stats are not available yet. The Chronicle site frequently gets Russell and his brother mixed up. It looks like the game is at half, or just started the 3rd.

On a 2010 note, the WR on his team, Kevin Johnson, looked great on ESPN the other night. He is having another good game. He's got good size, speed, and body control and his hands looked good. If we pursue him you have to think he'd be a near lock with RS on the roster.

Yeah that guy did look pretty good. I especially liked his front flip into the endzone.

11 carries for 80 yards through the beginning of the 3rd quarter for Shep. Haven't heard what his passing numbers are.

Just think how amny yards our RBs will bet with him in the backfield... He we open it up for both the RBs and WRs, to get a lot of single coverage and open space. Look at how effectively Pat White opened things up for Slaton and Devine, and Shep is much faster and has a better arm right now than White.
