Disturbing Tailgating Trend

Anyone notice how people are starting to rope off large areas for tailgating? Seems like a recent trend.. like the last couple of games.
We notice this at Auburn earlier this year and kind of laughed at it. We were glad that stuff like that didn't happen on a large scale basis at LSU.
Anyway, we get out at our spot today about 4ish and there are 2 jokers there who roped off about a basketball court size area using 2 oak trees, chairs, and the temp. fence. And I'm not talking about one rope. They have 3 levels of caution tape going all the way around. Looks like a wrestling ring. This is on the old golf course on the corner of nicholson/burbank.
Is this now an acceptable practice? I hope not.

Move the ropes and set up your tailgate.

If they set up tents and have enough tents to take up a large area, cool...but if they want to rope off areas then frick 'em and tear down the tape

If they are getting stingy, you should take the tape/rope down and take a shite all over the ground they had saved.
I have seen this stuff get way out of hand in some area of N.O. for Mardi Gras. They have these asses that will show up a week before a parade and rope off a 50 by 25 section and think it is all their's for the whole weekend.

unless the yown property on campus....they have no more right to it than you....i've seen this many times before
best thing to do is wait till they leave, the only reason they rope off is so they can leave and coem back at 11 on game day (like some light-weights) and when they leave take down the rope and sarcastically place it on top of there tent or chair
then invite anyone you see to park in there "once roped off area"

Take it! Unless they put tents up, that is rediculous...we used to park our cars in a huge circle to save our space, and would tailgate in the middle...but that was only about 7 cars.

you cant even save spots with chairs no more, in the parking lot by the natitourium,if the cop sees you saving a spot with a chair he will toss them and then put a car there.

i think chair saving is fine also,but i was just letting everyone know that the cops dont allow it to happen they will walk up and toss them whitch isnt wright.
