Did everyone think we would win the NC this year?

From the way everything reads, it seems like that is the case. I know it sucks that it was a blowout, but Florida was better last night. The world is not over, Les Miles is not awful, J. Lee is not awful, and this is still a pretty decent team. We lost a ton of starters on defense, and have a Harvard transfer and redshirt freshman playing QB.
I still think we go 9-3 or 10-2. That's not too bad, and I think LSU will be back in the title hunt in the next year or two.
I'm sure people will attack me, but I just wanted to share my thoughts.

You don't win MNC's w/ a freshman QB.

Now, when JLEE is soph or Senior we have a shot.

This is still a damn strong football team with a damn strong coach.

LSU will go 11-1 in the regular season and head to Atlanta vs. most likely Florida.

The winner of the LSU-UF SECCG will go to the National Championship Game.

Before the season I was realistic and thought we'd lose 2 or 3, then once the season started I was like "frick that" and wanted to win them all.

Honestly though, I thought if the team was able to win in Florida with a freshman QB then it was certainly possible to win another one. I just didn't really expect to win in Florida.

defensive problems do scare me.

Pelini had some awful games early on, but atleast he had a tenure of success before coming.

with our talent on D and jarrett lee being a player, along with how shitty the SEC west is, i thought it was a legit shot. all we have to really look out for is bama and our SEC East opponent in the SECCG

LSU will be pissed and will beat S Car next week.
Georgia is probably equal to LSU, so that game'll be tough, but the 2:30 afternoon CBS crowd will help us win that game.
Then LSU will beat Alabama. They will. There's no doubt in my mind.

We will make it to Atlanta this year. Keep the faith!

We lost to Florida at home and then turned it around at South Carolina 03. We can still do it!

LSU averages giving up 22.4 a game.

UGA averages 18.3.

Throw out the two outliers (Florida and Bama) you get:

UF-13.8
LSU-15.25

Not much difference. So, move on.

1 bad game for UGA

3 bad games in a row for LSU

UGA is 15th in the country. 17 spots ahead of LSU

UGA has played a much harder road up to this point

You do realize LSU has played some of the weakest offenses in FBS football? Florida has the only average offense we have seen. Even they struggled until yesterday.
