Your revised post looks like you considered the request and weighed the pros and cons then came to a rational decision in light of the interests of all concerned stakeholders.
We know that you'd just as soon piss on Gill as grant his request, but the revised post lends itself to the perception that you are trying to improve the TigerDroppings.com experience for all posters, and perception, my dear friend, is reality.

i dunno i like it, and a lot of my friends have been calling me gillgo lately and like the ring to it, but i wouldn't want to be an inconvenience to the admin if its to much to ask for
