Zastava N-PAP M70 7.62x39 AK Rifle

Anybody know much about them? AIM Surplus has them for $530 and free shipping, but didn't know if they were worth that.

Check slickguns. I've seen them closer to $400 at times

I own a Zastava PAP. However mine came with the useless rail on the dust cover. The rifle itself is very well made cosmetically. They will put any WASR to shame in a side by side. The bolt carrier and trigger set up is as solid as any i have ever seen. The comb is nice and high and you get can get a great cheek weld when firing unlike a lot of under folders or WASR.
My only complaint with the rifle, and I should put a disclaimer that my series were the first imported, were factory made for single stack magazines. After the import they were converted to double stack.
The issue is the head space in the trunnion is not quite enough to handle rounds coming out of the mag. Mine had countless FTF and FTE when i first got it. I looked online and found there was a recall. Sent it off to Century and they fixed the issue for free. Shipping and all. The newer OPAP is supposedly free of all of these issues.
I am now proud to take it out and play with it without any worries of being laughed at. I mean who owns an AK that won't go bang when you pull the trigger.
