Got my 9 year old one for xmas. Anybody have any experience with it? Academy had it on sale for 139 and for me it was just too hard to pass up

i've heard some people really like mossberg shotguns....i'm not one of those people

Im not either but for his first shotgun I thought it was too good to pass. Just wondering if its cheap

I have one. A Maverick 88 in 20 gage.
Shoots fine, I use it for a home defense gun mainly, but also use it as an "extra" gun if needed. I have 3 barrels for it I can swap out depending on use.
My cousin has one as well. It is his only shotgun and he uses it for everything from dove to Turkey. He's taken more turkeys with it than I have my 885.
