Just gotta call saying my pup was ready..he hasn't sent pics as promised. We talked on the phone and he promised again and still none. I'm driving 10 hrs so just wondering if there was any issues at all or if he is a really busy guy. I put 150 down by PayPal.
Thanks..

I made plans through email and paid using paypal. We drove up on a Sunday morning. Glen met us at the kennels while his wife was at church. He had the paper work all done, just needed a signature. He brought the puppies out and talked for a minute then left us alone to choose. My youngest daught insists to this day I choose the worst one.

Thanks...I did the same but I have a 10 hr drive each way. I just wanna couple of pics of it before I do the drive... Seems like a great guy but has been promising pics for weeks.

His wife runs the website and handles the paperwork, she sent me pics.

Check your pups feet and lower legs. Mine has a crooked toe and his front leg was kind of twisted. If straightened put after he got some good nutrition.

That's a good looking dog...
I knew Glen was married, but he told my wife "It's hard to get things done when you're by yourself"
We did not want to pry and hopefully nothing bad has happened...

i got mine from chester ladner in lumberton ms. i just went up there and picked my puppy out. of course, i dont live ten hours away either.
i hope it all works out for you. great breed of dog. i actually want another one but wife says no more that size hunting dogs in the yard. so instead i am getting a 17-24lb hunting dog in march!

This pup is from the Ladner line and in Ms also, I researched alot and go about 10 folks say this was the place to go to. I hope I don't come off as complaining..just think it's weird he won't send the pics.

i think i posted in the thread you made. i dealt with the old man ladner and i didnt get any pics but that was a few years back.
i agree with you that if i was driving ten hours i would want some pics.
the fellow i started dealing with now seems pretty good. takes pics of all his litters and their parents and post on another forum i have been going to.

No it's not him, I didn't wanna say anything bad about anyone or the kennel. But it is the same place Slash got his Southern Heritage Kennels the kennel's dog's come from the Ladner line.

It was a small litter with only 3 males in it. I was the 2nd to put a deposit down with paypal so I should have been able to pic from 2. I asked 3 weeks ago for pics and he said they had no color yet and were all gray like the young pups are. I get a email yesterday saying my pup is ready to get picked up. He promised pics yesterday to me and to my wife today... I find it weird.

Yeah the Ladner bloodline is supposed to be the top tier of the BMC. The Southern Heritage dogs are supposed to be a wee smaller which suits me fine.
The Fl cur we have her are just plain ugly in the face and too lanky for my taste.
