I'm looking to get a pontoon prop for the boat. has anyone used a pontoon specific prop? i have a Yamaha F90 w/ the cheap aluminum prop it came with. I need to move to a SS prop and I am curious if its worth getting a pontoon prop. TIA.

If you commonly run your pontoon thru stumps, then get the SS for durability and strength. If you only run your pontoon in open water without stumps, an aluminum will serve you just as well. I doubt seriously you would see any performance enhancement from a SS prop on a pontoon.

Won't make any difference imo

On a pontoon you won't see any better performance but it will last longer.
