I really just don't know. Is the price worth it? Since I have a "man cave" type area it won't look very tacky.

Thoughts? TIA

No.

But I wouldn't shoot it in the first place so I probably should just have stayed out of the thread.

Since you asked:

I don't like shooting anything that I am not going to eat or isn't causing damage to the property (hogs would be the best example of this, especially since they are non-native).

Plus, I like seeing them in the woods.

A more difficult question. Coyotes are much more likely to prey on deer. However, I haven't seen one in the woods in several years so I haven't had to make that decision.

They do kill fawns which is why I shot him.

I have been once.

I would eat a turkey if I shot it.

Whole lot of difference between a pack of coyotes that regularly kill several fawns and a solitary bobcat that may get a chance to kill one before they get old enough to escape him.

I didn't officially weight him but when people ask I tell him about 30-40 pounds just based on carrying him. He was a pretty mature male from what I could tell. I don't have much experience with bobcats though.

Yeah, you have a point. FWIW, I like seeing them when I'm in the woods too. I have only ever shot 1 while letting many more walk
