Would you pay $550 for a used 20 gauge Remington 1100?

Gun is in very good condition and is probably 20-30 years old. I've got 2 12 gauge 1100s but I've been looking for a 20 or 410. It has a gold engraving and is extremely similar to this one:

Yes. Seems to be very unique and a collectible. Would be the perfect gun to pass down through the family.

I'm not an expert but that sounds good. I have a 1100 16 ga from the 60's or 70's. I saw the same shotgun going for around $1200 on gun broker a while back. Mine was used a lot by my dad and I've used it a lot so it wasn't in as good of a condition as the ones going for that high.

Do you have to kill a white wing to be in the club or what?

Yeah. I have an old 12 gauge 1100 that is an absolute workhorse.

I don't believe the one I'm interested in says that. I think it just has the engraving, but also has a gold trigger

Heck no. I just saw a Belgian Browning A5 light for $100.00 more on gun broker.

Not sure, I'll try to get link

Edit: I hope this is ok. I've seen posters link items for sale so I hope I am ok. I've really got to mind my P's and Q's. I 'be gotten shite canned twice and I was actually joking both times so I'm really being careful what I post.

I don't want to get banned again so mods pls delete if not. I know people can't sell things but this is not mine.

You don't like Brownings?

EDIT: I didn't realize it was a bid and still ongoing. Have never bought with GB and just saw it when I hit.a search cause I thought I'd seen one in that price range on La. Spoertsmen the other day.

Have had several. Had two growing up (12 gauges) and got another (and a Benelli) when father died and one old one before thiat from my grandfather. I ended up selling a couple and still have 2 but no longer use them. I have a Benelli my father gave me as a gift and also the one he used. I use one to squirrel hunt and the other to duck hunt so I don't have to change choke.

I had a Rem 870 once. I bought it for under $100.00 to throw in the truck for driving around farm. Ended up loving it and used it a lot to shoot ducks. Ain't was a tough and dependable. sucka.

I've been looking for a 20ga as well. I have a 2 3/4" 1100 12ga I would trade for a 20ga.

Yes. Wish I could find a 16 gauge like that, I would pay good money.

I'm thinking about swapping my XDS 45 for this shotgun. My gut though is telling me to keep the pistol and just buy the 1100 outright
