Thanks!

I'll be heading up to Mountain View, Arkansas this weekend to hopefully do a time lapse of the eclipse, so keep an eye out for that

It is crazy to me how the right camera and settings will take pictures clear and better than your memory/brain can remember what something should look like.

On his website he has a picture of a mourning dove that is so awesome, I will be waiting to see if he puts it for sale. Love it.

Beautiful pics. Where did you take most of these pics at?

All the wildlife shots (except the barred owl) were shot with a Nikon Z8 and 200-500mm lens. The owl was shot with the Z8, but I used a 24-70mm lens (I was too close for the 200-500 to focus in on it.) The owl is sitting on eggs, so i'm hoping to get shots of owlets in the next couple of weeks.

The landscape shots were with the Z8 and either the 24-70mm lens or a 70-200mm lens.

All of these were taken along the Tchefuncte River, at Fountainbleau State Park, or Black Bayou Lake NWR, except for the turtle that was at Mahanna NWR near Vicksburg, and the old house with wildflowers, that was Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.

Typically for wildlife I’m using the Nikon Z8 and a 200-500mm lens (I’ll occasionally use a 24-70mm or 70-200mm lens)

For landscapes I’ll use the Z8 or a Nikon D850 with the 70-200 or 24-70…I’ll sometime use the 200-500, especially if I’m in the mountains and want to get close ups of the peaks.

I was using a Nikon D500’for wildlife, but got rid of it when I got the Z8. I plan to eventually get a second Z8 and will get rid of the D850 once i do that
