In the HQ building or the old District 7 office behind the HQ? What section? I grew up in the adjoining subdivision and used to hunt in the woods where Christian Life is now located. My friends house was on the exact spot where the LDWF HQ building is located. His dad worked for LDWF.

I worked there for four years as a student. Was very laid back, but due to budget cuts they don't have the Library anymore which is where I used to work. Try to befriend some biologists to see if you can go help in the field sometimes. Office work is lame.

That sound like the old District 7 HQ building. I loved working there back-in-the-day. I learned an awful lot about wildlife and wildlife management simply by speaking with the biologists and wildlife specialists. I spent my break times in the I & E library reading old Louisiana Conservationist mags and other literature published by the department. They had some great folks working there when I was there; I'm sure they're all retired by now.
