No, they get bathed pretty regularly.. and both being inside dogs, I'm self conscious about if the house smells like dogs or not.. we have hard wood floors so it helps... I always ask if it smells like dogs, and everyone says no....
Another thing is washing the dogs beds on a regular basis as well...

Who do you ask?
I applaud you for having polite friends.

Friends and relatives, who are brutally honest....
They would tell us in a second if it smelled like dogs...

One lab loves it the other hates it

Both of mine are ok with it. Have to lure em into the bed of the truck. When they see the hose and shampoo, they know whats happening and seek shelter under the tool box. Then I have to talk to em like a baby and eventually one of em will ease to the tailgate. Bath one, let it soak, then bath the other one. While the last one bathed is soaking, I rinse the first one, then rinse the last one bathed. Just got another one Sat., he didn't do to bad, but had to hold his collar the whole time. I used to have a baby pool that I washed them in. Had a couple of labs that would get in it before the water was drawn. And the ones now love the towel dry, and the treat afterwards.

My dachshund only growls when you are drying her off with a towel. Then she goes apeshite and runs as fast as she can around the house.
THIS! Little bastard tries to bite me through the towel.
Then they run around for the next 30 minutes... it's awesome.

I've never had a problem bathing my boxer...
Trimming her nails is tough b/c she wants to lick my hand the hold time

Bathed mine this w/e, first thing he does afterwards is go root around and roll in the dirt.

The only way I can bathe my Catahoula is to put him in the dog pen, spray him with the hose, enter the pen to soap him up, then exit and spray him down again. He'll run around the yard for a few minutes then I towel him off at the back door before going inside.
