Who is still deer hunting? What area is open?

Going to be nice and cold this weekend. Wish I had one more chance but area 1 closed in Jan,

I don't hunt there but SE Mississippi has primitive weapon still open I think.

In Arkansas We can bow hunt through February. I've still got a camera out, but I'm only getting pictures of a couple of small 8s, a big bodied buck that has already shed his antlers, and some does. I'm not going to kill another one unless its a good one so I haven't been out in a while.

headin up to the camp this evening. supposed to be in the mid 20s saturday night. last weekend for primitive for us in south ms, gotta get him this weekend!

Lac Ophelia NWR is open til the 15th, bucks only. I didn't even buy a permit this year or i might go.
