Where to fish Pontchartrain from the shore tomorrow?

The crowds and apparently rough surf means I'll probably skip Elmer's tomorrow and stay closer to home. Where should I go to fish Pontchartrain from the bank? Somewhere near the I-10 bridge.
And I have money (cash) for skrimps, if there's a good bait shop in the area.

Closest bait shops to the I-10 bridge is either The Bait Shop on Hwy 11(Front St) about a block north and across the street from the train station(aka: Times Bar & Grill). There's also Rigolets Marina. As for shore fishing that area, there's not much. Either the end of Rat's Nest Rd (think it's called Lakeshore or Lakeview Dr now) or at the end of Marina Dr (see pic below for more info). There's also several spots on the south shore of the twin spans and Hwy 11 bridge.
Or you can fish the Frank Davis Fishing Pier which is just off the NorthShore under the new twin span.

This about covers it.
