My favorites are falcon cara and shimano crucial rods. They range from 6'6 to 7'.

6'6" medium or medium-heavy. Falcon is my present favorite, althought others mentioned are very good.
Cabela's used to sell my favorite, but last I looked they didn't sell this rod with the @ 9" straight (not "power hump") handle, the straight being a must for me.
Coupled with a Calcutta this setup is amazingly versatile. I've caught anything from panfish to redfish on it.
