What's this growing in my herb/vegetable garden?

Little bit of a newbie when it comes to vegetable gardening as this is the first year we actually are growing anything in the planter.
We got nice growth of tomatoes, basil, dill, etc. Etc. And nothing looks unhealthy.
Overnight these popped up:
I'm not sure what they are. Figure either fungi or slug/snail eggs?
I am able to somewhat get them off the soil and if you squish them it does contain some green goo. Should I just dig the top layer up or leave them as is?

That's what I'm thinking. Just wanted to make no one thought it was something obviously different.
Just gonna leave them as is. It's been a little wet the last couple of days so hopefully drying out with stress them and they'll die off.

Do what any professional would do. Pick it, dry it, grind it up, smoke some and snort some, then take notes.
