What's the best baitcaster for deep diving crankbaits?

I'm looking for one in the $150-$200 range with 5.4:1 gear ratio to use specifically for deep diving crankbaits, like the kvd 8xd, 10xd, etc.
Have looked at several different brands but none of them stand out to me. Any suggestions?

Abu Garcia winch. you can crank those 10XD's all day and feel like a square bill is tied on.
The Revo winch is the pricier option. The Orra winch is the cheaper option but still a very good reel.
both have low gear ratios and well in your price range.

I wondered why I couldn't find one in RH. I really like Quantum reels.

7.3 is available in RH.
I am right handed but use a left handed reel. that means I don't have to switch the rod after casting. If you've ever used a spinning reel, you probably reeled it left handed. It is easy to switch and pick it up.
The fact is that I prefer the higher ratio any way, I just slow down my retrieve if needed.

7 something ratio; any top brand but I prefer Shimano

Team KVD Reel
I actually own 2 of these in the higher retrieve ratio. Best reels for the money I have ever owned (actually, best freshwater reels, period). They perform like a pricier model. They have a 6.6:1 in a right hand retrieve.

I'd look at Lews Speedspool, I know they make lower geared reels too

There are a few in that price range that are pretty good reels. I've always been a Shimano man, and I have a 5.3:1 E series Curado that I love. I bought one of the Tatula's around Christmas, some site was having a sale on them. Those things are awesome. It has the T-wing system, and I really believe it lets you cast farther and is smooth as hell.

I use Daiwa Lexas for all my baitcasters.
I got mine for maybe $50 each new and bought 12 of them. After upgrading the bearings to ceramic, replaced a bushing to a bearing, and upgraded the drags the total cost per reel was $85.
I went with those because I could get high speed, mid range, and low speed for larger cranks without switching between different reel models. The daiwa 100p Lexa (low speed reel) after upgrades has been going strong for 3 yrs. I throw bomber 9A's (Toledo tackle still sells them for $5.99),DD22's, strike king larger cranks, larger mud bugs, and old deep diving Poe cranks from the early 1990's.

This is what I have on a 7'6" ducket cranking rod. Like the setup but I apparently suck at deep cranking because all I've caught on a 10XD is 12" bass and whiteys

I use Abu Garcia 3.8 ratio, green colored reel and it's a winch. I have an older model I've been using for years.
