Im planning on buying here pretty soon. Trying to decide between a new foreman, foreman rubicon, or rincon.

What you got and why you got it? Is the rincon worth the extra cash?

Went and looked this morning, figured I might as well buy. I got a green Foreman for $5800. Happy with the purchase and appreciate the input.

I got a 4x4 rancher, and we have good roads/trails. It does everything I need except haul people comfortably. My next will be a side by side...

i would still consider the rancher but Im worried I will regret not buying a little bigger. The extra money between rancher and foreman isnt that big a deal, but are most of you with the rancher happy with it or would you rather take foreman if money wasnt an issue

I still see a ton of early 90's to early 2000's fourtrax/ranchers still kicking.

Best 4 wheelers ever made up until now.

See my post above. Keep in mind though I said our place has good trails. Mine is bone stock down to the original tires and it goes everywhere.

If your place is bad and gets rutted up you may want a bigger atv.

I got a 2005 350 carbureted 4x4 rancher. 2006 is when they went to the fuel injected 420.

I got the last of the beast...

the trails are not very good at my place, steep arse hills and a few creek crossings that arent muddy but the banks are hard as hell and slick

a guy recently tried to talk me out of the foreman. he said it has terrible ground clearance and its basically a 3 wheel drive. I think he's partial to polaris

I have a 4x4 honda fourtrax 300 with regular sized tires on it and it's perfect for me. Not big or powerful or anything, but it's gotten be there and back every single time for 13 years so far without fail. Still on the original spark plug.

85% of people who preach about ground clearance and shite like that are just looking for a hole to bail off in.

A grown man with some sense could get by just fine with 8" of ground clearance at most places.

We hunt in nasty arse horrible swamp and my old beat up fourtrax with 23" tires does great if you don't go looking to get stuck...

I just love how all of a sudden it became necessary to have an 800cc fire breathing 4x4 with 32" tires 100hp and 15" of ground clearance. Like all logs got taller, all mud got thicker, and all rides got longer.

If you want a big badass bike just say you want it. By all means get what you want. Don't let somebody talk you into it on the basis of needing it though, unless you really truly do.
