No, you need the big ones with the big eyes to catch the big bass. They are a couple bucks each but the bass LOVE them...

Have you tried putting a pink streamer on the waist and then the tail moves it around giving a very enticing presentation...

Rhinestone collar gives it a good shimmer as well.
