Well we didn’t catch enough snapper again. Alabama snapper season reopens on September 28

Until the quota is reached if it is all all. Then the NMFS will come in and say we are all non compliant and actually caught 5 times our quota and we are not actually allowed to catch any red snapper for the decade and then give all the recreational snapper fish to the commercial fishermen

All the Atlantic snapper must be hiding in the Gulf. We only had one, two day season. The SAFMC has ruined fishing for the recreational guys.

If my read of the statistics in Louisiana are correct, we might not reach the quota by the end of the year. Give me a couple calm days in October and I’ll help fill it.
