I'll crank it off with a 7 pt. I got Sat. morning at 7:45 before heading to the game. Rapides Parish - Remington 700 .270 150 gr. Nosler Partition - didn't take a step.
Not a trophy but I hunt for meat and I'm out of it. Three of this caliber will be a successful season for me.

Great weekend of fishing with my daughter (no pics), she caught her first redfish, spec, sand trout and whiting on Saturday AND follows that up with her biggest bass, a 5# and a 4# yesterday...

I shot a spike Saturday morning and my son shot a 6 point with a messed up rack Sunday. Now that we have plenty of meat, I'll be a little more selective (if I can control myself)

My weekend was supposed to start yesterday and go through Tuesday. All I've done is sit around the house waiting to take my next shite. My guts are bad and I'm about to have to start spraying my arse clean because I've wiped my ballon knot raw

fished down in montegut out the yak sat
15 (17"-24")trout all on matrix shad
5 slot reds released 9 bulls
all from my one hole. moved around but stopped again on the way in and added 2 flatfish. had to flip my bail and let my fish run free a few times to deter other yakkers from infringing on my spot. had some kind of tournament going on and the few I spoke to didn't catch a fish

Hated to, but with a five and seven year old, and starting a new business affected my ability to get up there. Easy to take my boys up here, not so easy up there

Took the boy with me Saturday night and sunday morning. Watched a doe with a yearling for about 30 minutes Saturday night. Then a 4pt sunday morning. 4pt either winded us or something set him off. He didn't stay long enough for me to get a shot.
