I’m working in Houston so I’m living through others as well. My aunt and uncle caught some nice mangroves and a cobia in gi if that counts.

Looking forward to getting my boat back this week too! She’s getting a new prop and a couple other small things fixed.

I go during the week so it wasn’t bad at all.
I avoid the water on weekends at all cost.

Don’t waste time at LSU weir, it’s closed and looks like it’s been that way a long time.

Tractor pressure washed, greased, oil changed, and hydraulic fluid topped off with filter changed. Bush hog blades sharpened, gear box filled up, and driveshaft greased. Disc is greased and ready to go also.

I've got to start using this in the next couple of weekends so it's got to be ready to go (before I head to Wyoming). I'll put 50-60 hours on the old unit before hunting season and I want those to be trouble free, crank and go.

First trip trying my new Livescope. I need a lot more hours with it, but not bad for summer on a shitty impoundment

Launched at the whiskey bay launch under the interstate. Ole baw pulled a bunch of trash out his truck and threw it on the ground. He flipped me off when I told him classy move. When I got back to the launch I filled the back of his truck up with trash. That launch is disgusting. I could fill my boat with trash and not make a dent. I guess its the crawfish guys leaving their bait boxes and such all over.

Good weekend in Venice.

Took the two little hammers and their buddy snapper fishing caught some beautiful snapper then took them trout fishing and found a bunch of smaller trout as the tide stopped moving if was fast and furious for about 45 minutes.

It was a very quiet ride home from the camp, sign of a great weekend.

Caught a nice mess of trout in Coco this weekend. Bite was good early so we beat the heat.

Looks good.

it does...I was looking at the AC unit wondering how he is draining it and how much heat it would be blowing onto his cooking area...

I watched a video of Marsh Man Todd doing this with his daughter and it looked like fun...it's close to the camp on Bayou Sauvage...if it's the chalmette wall...

Went out of delacroix and caught 7 hammer trout, but the bite died by 8:15 with the west wind making black bay more like brown bay. Ran all the way to big/grand lake and caught two bass and about a million crabs. Couldnt keep our bait on the hooks. And called it a day.
