Johnny's and Great Raft Commotion. Damn glad to be home. 5 straight days of fantastic duck hunting behind me, so going to take her easy tomorrow and get some sleep.

Lasagna and coke zero. Just carved pumpkins and about to start the pies. Turkey injecting to follow. Got both little Hunts (damn near full grown )at home and all feels right!

Not much to it, really. Just our best first split in a long time. We have water on our place, and most places in the area between Millwood Lake and Caddo don't. Lots of Mallards and Teal. Even had a nice group of pintails today. Limits every day, including a memorable 35 minute teal shoot in the driving rain with 24 teal on Sunday morning. Sorta sucks in a way because I could have used a good excuse to not get out of bed on rainy days for duck hunts...and now I have that hunt in the back of my head.
