Anyone have any experience doing this? Looking for something more fun than just a play set slide and don't want to look like a redneck with a old pool slide on my pier. I have a very nice pier so looking for something that is somewhat attractive. I'm on the eastern shore of mobile bay so water depth is a concern , depending on the tide it is sometimes only 3 1/2-4'.

You should make sure your homeowners insurance won't drop you if you do that. A lot of insurers don't mess with trampolines diving boards and pool slides (not sure if they would consider this similar)

If you put a slide on your pier, you're going to look like a redneck, old pool slide or not.

My home is real tall and sits close to the water. I thought about running a slide from my second floor porch to the water, and they I realized that the speed produced would probably get someone killed, so I let the idea go...
