I have a couple of out of state hunts planned and was looking into a pop up blind.

Hopefully I can get it shipped and set up on location 2-3 weeks prior to the hunt.

As a tall guy, drawing my bow in a pop up can be a bit of a challenge so I am looking at large hub style blinds. From the tip of my undrawn arrow in the rest at full arm extension to the back of my release elbow at full draw is 72". I will need to be able to shoot from a seated position so the windows will need to be low enough to accommodate that.

Suggestions on blinds and chairs appreciated.

I havent been in the deer hunting game for awhile.

I'm 6'3" with a 30" draw length and have 2 Big Game VS360 blinds that I really like. I think they changed the branding to Muddy after the merger/buyout. The windows are very adjustable due to the sliding mesh and they are pretty stable. I had one out that withstood a couple of inches of snow without collapsing.

For a chair I use the Bass Pro swivel chair. It's plenty comfortable for all day sits.

I looked at those ghost blinds, and there are a couple of drawbacks.

1 price
2 no cover from rain or snow
3 no heat retention
4 questionable use in temp changes due to fogging up
5 since it is a mirror, movement by target animal is reflected as movement on the blind. This is worse if hunting uneven terrain and the deer is walking in front and below the blind.

6 could be kick arse for turkey though

Anyone with any other suggestions?

Also not a fan of Velcro closures of any kind
