All the old threads have been locked and many of the links are dead. Anyone have a recommendation? It would be in a brackish lake at about 12' deep. The dock has power so no need for the 12v systems.
https://www.underwaterfishlight.com/ This one still seems to be popular.
https://www.thegreenmonsterfishinglight.com/ This is another one I saw, but it's a few $$ more.

Bookmarking, as I have been in the market as well. A friend of mine's dad bought a really good one that sits about 12 to 15 feet deep, but he bought it so long ago he doesn't even remember where he got it.

FishNLight is the one you want. The reason you want this model is because it can be repaired. The plastic housing can be replaced (it will cloud up over time.) The bulb can be replaced with a wrench. I had one no longer under warranty and I was able to order replacement interior parts from Amazon to rewire and replace all the guts after it went under after a hurricane.
I have been very pleased with my purchase. The standard light comes with 40' of chord from the unit to the bulb, increase that to at least 60'. Better to have and not need.

And get the clear housing, colored ones just reduce light output and provide no benefit.

I have a green monster currently and it attracts fish. May have to check out the one wick mentioned.
Also, from seeing others in my area, the ones that a green seem to attract more fish.

Thanks!
Even with the extra cord length, that setup is a good bit cheaper than the alternatives.

Thanks for the informative post. Will definitely look into these. They easy to get in and out of the water as needed?

Any insight on the dock light of theirs, or have you just used the fish light?

Just sinking it by a small dock we have on our private pond. It is about 7 feet deep right there. Gonna use it to kill some gar.
