It's almost here, and the past two weeks they have really started gobbling in LaSalle & Winn Parish. I started hearing birds around January 20th. Hopefully it wont be over before it starts

The season will be alright. This warm weather isn't going to have every hen bred before the season starts. Contrary to what some believe.

I walked out of the house this morning and almost pissed my pants when one gobbled 20 yards from me.

There are two with decent beards. I'll let you shoot them for $20

I'll gladly take them off your hands. Forget the $20. I won't even charge ya to get rid of the suckers. That's what OB friends are for

Whoa, count me in. I'll even double your asking price.

Wait, do you live in the woods, or are these yard birds? 20 yards is damn close for the backdoor. Lmao!

I'll sneak in there like a ninja and kill them with my bow and you will never know it.

All threads pertaining to turkeys should include "paging Tenfoe" in title block.

Going to make a squirrel/scout trip in am. I'm getting ready

My yard birds have been gobbling since December, and started breeding late January. I don't hunt em, and this is my first year switching to turkeys from quail, so I don't know if that translates to anything for you hunters.

Plums are blooming here and dogwoods can't be far behind. It's almost time boys.
